Rosewood Social Prescribers “Dig Deep” in the Community!

The Rosewood Social Prescribing team have been busy bees and have been collaborating with the Salvation Army to make a start on a new community allotment in the heart of Mansfield. The team got their wellies and gardening gloves on and spent the afternoon digging overgrown beds to get the allotment ready for planting in the spring.

The Rosewood Team are in the process of creating a community allotment group where local people will be able to go and do some digging, plant and grow various vegetables and flowers, or just go and enjoy a relaxing outdoor space. This will support people with both their mental and physical health and wellbeing, it will also support those who are socially isolated and/or do not have access to a garden space.
