PICS celebrates Occupational Therapy Week 2025
Occupational Therapy Week 2025 began on 3 November and showcases the difference occupational therapists make through early intervention and preventative care. The Royal College of Occupational Therapists campaign ‘Right Support, Right Time: Unlocking the Power of OT’ shows how OT delivers real impact across health, education and social care by shifting the focus to prevention.
We are proud at PICS to have OTs working at the start of the patient’s journey with our Mental Health OTs, Clinical Care Home Leads alongside OTs working in the pain service. We are excited that our OTs are now in First Contact roles as part of the primary care team since the ARRS scheme started. As a PICS team we are currently awaiting the results of three awards where the OTs have been shortlisted for their innovation in primary care.
