Our Services

Our Services

We design and deliver effective and safe services.

PICS provides 35 services within the community, available from General Practice surgeries and care homes, and via community clinics and home visits. Our staff work across the county and city of Nottingham for a population size of over one million people.

We work closely with voluntary organisations, community groups, social services, district nursing, GPs, Pharmacists, hospital consultants, and mental health providers to help you achieve your health and wellbeing goals.

You might not notice our staff are from a different organisation. Feedback from patients, carers, families and community members and our partners in healthcare is invited, recorded, and monitored in line with NHS standards.

Primary Care Network Services

We provide professional services for 11 Primary Care Networks, covering 69 General Practice surgeries who care for 600,000 Nottinghamshire residents.

PICS has been appointed by the PCNs to:

  • support the design and development of new services;
  • enable integration of new services into health, wellbeing and social care pathways;
  • employ and support staff;
  • provide clinical governance and professional development to the PCN workforce;
  • administrate financial and banking arrangements; and
  • support the Clinical Directors with their planning and other duties as needed.

Since their inception in 2019 and launch in 2020, PICS has been instrumental in the development of 11 PCNs and creation of new services and pathways in South and Mid Nottinghamshire: Rosewood (Mansfield South), Mansfield North, Ashfield South, Ashfield North, Sherwood, Newark, Byron (Hucknall), Synergy Health (Hucknall), Arnold and Calverton (Gedling), Arrow Health (Gedling) and Nottingham West (Broxtowe).
