Mansfield North Social Prescribers support the RBL Poppy Appeal
Social Prescribers Kirsty, Rose and Alison took turns to support the Armed Forces community in Morrisons at Mansfield, selling Poppies and talking to customers, local Veterans and serving personnel.
The Poppy Appeal is the campaign held every year in October and November by the Royal British Legion.
Founded in 1921, the Appeal raises funds for the Royal British Legion’s vital work supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families throughout their lives with whatever the need, whenever it’s needed.
Generous donations by the public who support the appeal and led by Volunteers who dedicate their times to fundraise across the community.
