Your ideas for our annual quality account
PICS produces an annual quality account every year which focuses on our progress on key quality priorities. Our account for 2024-25 covers the following:
- We will enable our staff to have a better understanding of patient safety in the NHS and reducing risk and harm to patients.
- We will make Oliver McGowan training mandatory for staff.
- We will submit an application for the ‘Gold’ award on the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
- We will have staff workshops to review our findings of the 2023 staff survey and produce an action plan.
- We will improve the percentage of patients seen in the 18 week RTT for the community gynaecology clinic.
We will publish the report on these priorities in June this year. If you have any thoughts on areas we could focus on next year please email pics.comms@nhs.net. See last year’s quality account here.
